I am Kai Zhang, a passionate computational and industrial designer graduated from Harvard Graduate School of Design. I also hold a bachelor degree in industrial design from Rhode Island School of Design. I was born and raised in Shenzhen, China, and I am currently based in Cambridge, MA, USA.
My work spans across disciplines from industrial design, computational design, and interaction design. I enjoy sketching bizarre ideas, seeking out new aesthetic forms, solving problem with a non-linear approach, and exploring innovative workflows.
In my leisure time, I prefer to visit places with high analog information density, like a PCB assembly factory, a fish market, or an old urban village. These places somehow refresh my mind really well.
